July 28, 2025 at 3:32 pm, No comments
Week 2 of ESEA S54 Entry has wrapped up, and it was a challenging one for Aesthetic. Despite facing tough opponents and even playing with a stand-in, the team showed moments of brilliance

Game 1: vs VEX – Ancient (2-13)

Due to availability issues, De1Co (coach) had to stand in, and VEX took full advantage.

In first half VEX kicked things off with a fast B hit that wiped Aesthetic cleanly. They maintained pressure with confident executes and took an early 2-0 lead.
The first gun round looked promising as CrZe and De1Co pushed ramp aggressively, landing kills, while trinh handled the lurker. CrZe finished off the remaining Ts for Aesthetic's first round (1-2).
But VEX answered back, dominating the next four rounds with superior firepower and map control, leading 6-1.
In Round 8, De1Co got an opening pick on the B walkup, followed by trinh and Danny catching lurkers. Danny clutched the round with 2 confident frags, bringing it to 2-6.
Unfortunately, VEX brushed off the setback and closed the half flawlessly at 10-2, showcasing top tier aim and coordination.

The second half started with an A hit onto an empty site, but Aesthetic couldn’t hold the postplant in a 4v2 momentum slipped further.
Despite early advantages in the second round, VEX’s retake was once again on point, making it 12-2.
A final hail-mary attempt at a mid push was perfectly countered.

Final Score: 2-13

Game 2: vs 3krovno - Anubis (9-13)

3krovno opened first half with an A fake into a B push and caught Aesthetic off guard for the first two rounds.
Gun rounds were rough early, as they snowballed with strong executes and mechanical dominance, jumping to a 0-8 lead.
Aesthetic called a timeout, and CrZe took charge. In Round 10, CrZe found the opener, paulioska followed up, and trinh closed it. Aesthetic finally got on the board (1-8).
3krovno rushed A next round, but Danny delivered a huge 4K hold, bringing us to 2-9.
The final round of the half turned into a 2v5 retake, where CrZe and trinh pulled off the impossible with crucial kills and a ninja defuse brought us back to 3-9.

Second half started with a B split, but Aesthetic couldn’t hold the postplant. Down 10-3, Aesthetic needed a spark.
bulis113 got an opening, and paulioska picked off the flanker. trinh found a key frag mid, but a thrown 4v2 stung as score went to 3-11.
In Round 15, CrZe and paulioska combined for a 5K, pushing Aesthetic to 4-11.
Aesthetic chained more rounds, executing well and building economy. On Round 18, paulioska went huge again, grabbing 2 entries and 2 more in the postplant, with CrZe winning a tight 1v1 to bring it to 7-11.
bulis113 clutched a massive 1v2 next round, narrowing it to 8-11, then Aesthetic followed up with a smooth round win (9-11).
A tactical pause from 3krovno changed the momentum and they read Aesthetic perfectly in Round 21, leading to a 3v5 Aesthetic couldn’t recover.
trinh and Danny got a kill each, but the postplant was shaky again as the score got to 12-9.
In the final round, 3krovno played it perfectly and shut Aesthetic out to close the game.

Final score: 9-13
